Engage today with SBMC

Our group exists to help facilitate the nourishment of deep, purposeful friendships to promote the welfare of our city.

We follow the example of Jesus who “...became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood.” (John 1:14, MSG)

We do this by intentionally nurturing micro connections and relationships in our community, providing easy-to-use tools and frameworks for neighbors to connect meaningfully with neighbors, and by walking together to witness and bless the activity of God in our neighbors and neighborhoods.

At the Mission Conference in January, we’d like to have a clear and simple framework for people to form small, intimate walking groups to facilitate connections in their own neighborhoods. We will be actively recruiting organizers to facilitate these micro-connections.
